VACATION

My wife and I are taking 3 of our granddaughters to Washington D.C. this week. I’m hoping there won’t be any demonstrations that disrupt our site seeing. The memorials and monuments elicit a sense of pride in America that’s good for our grandkids to experience. We’re staying at a nice hotel, and we have booked a guided tour for one day. My wife has secured tickets at several of the museums and everybody’s excited to go.

On the Sunday prior to our leaving, we’re having a graduation party at our country club for a grandson who’s going to Montana State and a granddaughter going to Kent State.  I’m especially proud of another granddaughter who just graduated from 3 years of PA school in Bridgeport, Connecticut with honors. She is the first physician’s assistant from that school to be hired by the Mayo Clinic.
