CRIME WAVE
Crime in Minneapolis has gone ballistic with dozens of carjacking’s, armed stick-ups, purse-snatchings, shootings, assaults and burglaries. Fights among large groups of young men are reported in the downtown area and vandalism and graffiti damage property including the Vikings’ football stadium. Some businesses have been robbed at gunpoint twice in one week. One driver had his car boxed in by several men who beat him and then took his vehicle. Another man was seriously injured when he tried to stop his car from being stolen with his wife and child inside. Women report being mugged and choked by thieves who steal their purses. Violence and shootings are engulfing the city. Somebody needs to get a handle on this and soon.
