HURRICANES
Recently my wife twisted my arm until I agreed to go on a cruise with her from Montreal to Boston. Midway through the cruise, we began to hear reports of a hurricane named Helene approaching Florida. That made us apprehensive because we suffered great damage from hurricane Ian to our winter home in southwest Florida. Sure enough, Helene swept by us leaving a foot of muddy water and sand in our lower level.
As I write this, we are seeing dire predictions on the TV about hurricane Milton now coming our way. We’ve weathered two recent hurricanes and have our fingers crossed that we can avoid any more damage.
